Top 5 Players of Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter

With the conclusion of Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter and a few weeks to go before the start of FFIC 2022 Spring, we get a little time to rest our hearts before it starts racing for the next big championship again. Speaking of hearts, let's take a look at some of the people that won our hearts during the FFPL 2021 Winter Finals. These are the top 5 players of the tournament.

  1. CE - Radhetkr [15 kills, 7061 Damage]

Radhetkr was without a doubt the best player of the tournament. He is very well on his way to becoming the best overall player of the country if he keeps up his pace. Just before 2021 ended, he topped the charts of the Free Fire Winter Invitational as well. With his performance in FFPL, he has become the MVP of two tournaments in a row. He not only did the highest damage in Weeks 1 and 2 of the League Stage, but was also the highest fragger on the day of the finals, bagging 15 bodies! Can he continue his superb form and retain his position as the best player in India at the end of FFIC as well? There’s only one way to find out.

  1. TG - Mafia [13 kills, 7732 Damage]

Mafia also is one of those consistent players that impressed us in the Free Fire Winter Invitational by winning the tournament, and now performing well in the Pro League finals as well. While he might have been a solid source of damage in the finals, he did not do all that much during the League Stage. At that stage of the tournament, Delete was the one doing heavy lifting. During the finals, Mafia’s positioning helped his team win a booyah. If it wasn’t for Mafia’s precise sniping and his control over the zone, Total Gaming Esports wouldn’t have received the amount of placement points that they did. Of course, the kills that Mafia contributes are a bonus.

  1.

  2. CE - Swastik [11 Kills, 5480 damage]

Swastik took on the responsibility of the riskiest role that anyone can take. He was the one rushing in to initiate. He might be the first one to get knocked out, but he deals significantly more damage than what he receives, or let’s his teammate receive. That’s why his stats are not as impressive as that of his fellow teammate at the top of this list, but his impact definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Even if he was unsuccessful in winning the opening duel (rarely), he would make it possible for his teammates to trade a re-frag. Immaculate communication and striking in tandem with his teammates amplifies his individual mechanical prowess.

  1. TG - Delete [10 Kills, 6640 Damage]

Speaking of immaculate coordination and firepower, here’s another player from Total Gaming Esports to make a power-duo. Delete was the clutch player for his team, alongside Dragogrg who was rushing. In the booyah that Total Gaming Esports was able to win, the support players Mafia and FozyAjay got into trouble. The spearhead of the push - Delete had to blaze a path for his teammates to follow, and he cleared all the obstacles by planting bullets inside the skulls of his opponents. If it wasn’t for Delete’s brave efforts and an underappreciated double-kill, Total Gaming Esports secured the space they needed to set up camp and win the game.

  1. TSM - Koushik [10 kills, 5308 damage]

The number of new, unfamiliar names keeps on rising in this list. We fondly remember the days when we used to call Mafia and Delete as the ‘young guns of Total Gaming Esports’, while FozyAjay and Mafiabala were the older players. Those two players have done enough to prove they aren’t the wee underdogs like before. That being said, new underdogs are rising and Koushik is one such candidate. Making his competitive debut, and to be able to get into the top 5 players in your very first premier national level tournament? Exceptionally remarkable! There were several moments when you could see panic set in this fledgling’s face when his teammates were slaughtered right before his eyes and he didn’t have the power to save them. He did lack the experience of a pro, which could be seen in his ability to take a blow and keep moving forward, or rather the lack of it. But the mechanical skills he showed us proves that he could be the next aim-god in the country. We will keenly watch his career with profound interest.
