Watch these top teams closely in the FFPL 2021 Winter League Stage

There’s so much happening in the Free Fire world right now. The Free Fire Pro League is right around the corner. Not just the top contenders, but also several deserving underdogs are participating in it. Teams of all sorts of skill and experience levels are going to be a part of the Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter. If you are feeling overwhelmed about keeping track of all the teams, here are some of the teams that you should be keeping an eye out for.

  1. Orangutan Elite

Unarguably the best team in the country right now is Team Orangutan Elite (earlier known as Team Elite). This was the first team in the history of Indian Free Fire to win a booyah at the international level in the Free Fire Asia Championship. By doing so, they made their entire country proud, and raised the bar for everyone aspiring to represent their country overseas.

Their strongest point is not just their experience, but also their flexibility. The proof lies in their star player Pahadi’s play style. We always knew him as one of the best snipers in the game, but during the FFAC, he focused on assaulting along with his team more, and using Misha’s Afterburner to get his team safely into the shrinking zone. If a sniper as notorious as Pahadi can switch up his playstyle and do whatever it takes to win, it tells you everything you need to know about the team.

  2. Total Gaming Esports

Let’s be honest, you would have been on the lookout for this team regardless of whether we told you or not. Total Gaming Esports bagged all the esports awards of 2021. Not only did they get crowned as the best team, but all the categories were dominated by their players. Mafia took home two trophies, while FozyAjay got the award of the best captain of the year. The fans even noted Delete’s contribution to the team and honoured him. It’s funny how two of the newer players of Total Gaming Esports - Mafia and Delete are now pulling just as much weight as the older, experienced players like FozyAjay and Mafiabala. This team is also the defending champion going into FFPL 2021 Winter, for they were the ones who won the inaugural season of the Pro League.

  1. Godlike Esports

The star players of Blind Esports are now playing under the roster of Godlike Esports. This wonderful organisation has fielded several roster for multiple titles, but for their first expansion into the Free Fire domain, they have chosen trailblazing players who set the trends for others to follow. Players like Nivesh were the pioneers of the “grenadier” class. This was a category of players which did not even exist before Nivesh started to show us the true potential of the throwable frag grenade. However, it doesn’t end there. The other players of this team are also equally deadly, and for the most part, a majority of the pro players in the community acknowledge this fact. Almost every player of Godlike was in high demand during the team drafting process of the Free Fire Winter Invitational. As the winter drags on, will they be able to showcase their dominance in the Pro League as well? You better keep your eyes peeled to find out.

  2. PVS Gaming Esports

This was a team that shot up to stardom in a ridiculously low amount of time. For the first time in the history of Indian Free Fire, we saw a team that was playing their first FFIC tournament, not only make it to the grand finals by dominating their group in the league stage, but they also punched themselves a ticket to the international stage. We saw not only one, but two teams do it - PVS Gaming Esports and Desi Gamers Esports. However, there’s a few reasons why you should be on the lookout for the former. PVS - Ecoeco has emerged as the next rising star of the country. He could very well be a contender for the title of the best fragger of 2022, if he can maintain his form. On the other hand, Yogi has proven to be an excellent leader. During the FFAC, we saw that this team wasn’t afraid to brawl against stronger teams and contest hot drop locations. Their bravery and firepower earned them the respect that they command now.

  1. Nigma Galaxy

Even after several new players now command the attention of the fans, the old legends like Vasiyo can never be ruled out. He still enjoys the title of the most experienced player in the country, second to only probably someone like his ex-teammate FozyAjay. Vasiyo has proved that he can work with a fresh squad within a short amount of time and turn it into a championship winning roster. He did this during the FFIC 2021 Spring, and he wants to show us that he can do it again. His new roster seems promising. Players like NGX - XDivine have improved leaps and bounds over the course of the last few months, while Tahir ages like fine wine. With the addition of Mehul, their firepower has received a massive boost. The biggest advantage that they have this season is that they have had the chance of spending a lot more time with each other, and hence as a result, they must have gotten accustomed to each other’s playstyles. We have great expectations from Nigma Galaxy.
