The new year 2022 is about to start with a bang. We are proud to present to you Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter! This article will tell you all about the tournament format and how you can be a part of it. The registrations for this tournament are already underway and will be open till 24th December 2021. Do register before this date if you want to participate in FFPL Winter. 

Format

Similar to the last season of Free Fire Pro League, we will have a mix of pro and amateur teams in the tournament. A total of eighteen teams will make it to the League Stage of the tournament.  The twelve finalists from Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall will be invited directly, while the remaining six slots will be filled via the FFC Mode Open Qualifiers. 

Path to pro

The FFC Mode qualifiers will begin on 24th December, from 16:00 IST to 20:00 IST. Interested participants that satisfy the eligibility criteria will be issued 10 match tickets. Please make sure that you use them within the stipulated time, as they will be voided later. Score as much as you can, for only the six highest scoring teams will be shortlisted for the League Stage of the tournament.

League Stage

There twelve teams from FFIC 2021 Fall along with the six teams that qualified via FFC Mode will compete in the League Stage for six days. 

• Match Day 1:  Sat, 8 Jan 2022

• Match Day 2:  Sun, 9  Jan 2022

• Match Day 3:  Sat, 15  Jan 2022

• Match Day 4:  Sun, 16  Jan 2022

• Match Day 5:  Sat, 22  Jan 2022

• Match Day 6:  Sun, 23  Jan 2022

• Grand Finals:  Sun, 30 Jan 2022

After six days of League Stage play, the top 12 twelve from this lot make it to the Grand Finals. Unlike the FFICs, there will be no play-ins stage. Hence, the teams will have to be as consistent as possible all throughout.
