Top Indian Players to Keep an eye on during FFAC Play-Ins!

India is sending its finest warriors to the Free Fire Asia Championship 2021. This will be a very difficult battle. The best teams of the continent are going up against each other, and in a lobby full of Goliaths, India’s Davids will try to weather the storm and ride the wind. Team Elite will be going directly to the Grand Finals, whereas Desi Gamers Esports, PVS Gaming Esports, and Total Gaming Esports will be competing in the Play-Ins. Here are some of the Indian players that you should keep your eyes on during the Play-Ins.

  1. PVS - EcoEco

This is a player that is deadly in the early game fights. If you hot drop against him, pray that he doesn’t find a weapon. The best part about EcoEco is his versatility. He can use any weapon he finds against his enemies. He doesn’t have such preferences, nor any prerequisites to perform. Anything that spits lead will do. During the 48 matches he played in the FFIC, he killed 67 enemies and dished out 36364 damage. Considering that this was his first time playing in a premier tournament like FFIC, we are incredibly surprised to see a rookie like him slay veteran opponents. Nobody has ever pulled off what EcoEco did, not only did he top his group in his first ever premier tournament (and also almost won it), but he qualified for an international tournament in his very first attempt. This is too much progress too fast. We hope that EcoEco can maintain his composure in the Play-ins as well.

  2. TG - Delete

Yet another rookie who’s quickly gaining ground on the veterans, Delete has been the best thing that happened to Total Gaming Esports. He does have more experience than PVS-EcoEco, considering that this isn’t his first rodeo, but still, this will be the first time he participates in an international tournament. Having experienced teammates like FozyAjay next to him might just take a little bit of pressure off his shoulders, but he still has to be the highest damage dealer on the team. He joined his team and took up the role of the rusher. He hasn’t failed since then. A majority of the raids and compound breaches that Total Gaming Esports attempted in the FFIC 2021 Fall were only successful because Delete lined up more than one enemy in a fight. His multi-kill power is what gives his team the edge. If set up properly, Delete will send opponents back to the lobby with great efficiency. He only played 38 matches in FFIC, considering they had a shorter path into the finals, yet he managed to get 53 kills. His firepower can be the difference-maker during the Play-ins.

  1.

  2. DG - Harsh

Desi Gamers Esports have made appearances in previous premier tournaments in India like the Battle Arena and Free Fire Pro League, however this will be the first time representing the country internationally for them too. Harsh was never the star fragger of the team, as he mostly picked up the role of the support. Even when he was rushing, he was the one to pick up the trades and keep his entry fraggers safe. His perfect support got him impressive stats - like 47 kills and 28613 damage in just 42 matches. Going into the FFAC Play-Ins, his support and spotting skills will have to be on point. He will need to keep his teammates safe from all the danger that will befall them from any and every direction.

  1. TG - FozyAjay

FozyAjay is the only player on this list that has previously competed in a Pan-Asia tournament. The only one here with any international experience. He has been the in-game leader of Total Gaming Esports for a long time, and has taken this team back to the top again over the course of the last year. Having gone through everything that a team possibly can in its career span, his experience will be worth its weight in gold. He understands what it could be like to go up against teams that are significantly better than you, and adapting to the pressure might come naturally to him. While his kill and damage stats are not as impressive as his teammates like Delete, but one cannot buy experience, nor can it be quantified in numbers.

  1. DG - Ignite

Responsibility, research and relentless pursuit of excellence, all these make Ignite the perfect captain. Desi Gamers Esports positioned themselves perfectly to not only get high placement points and booyahs, but also frag out of their minds as they had lines of sight on quite a lot of teams. Their disruptive playstyle allowed them to gatekeep a lot of teams and also steal frags from others. A lot of their success can be attributed to their in-game leader Ignite. In our interview with him, he revealed his secrets. He uses his teams as eyes and ears and takes an informed decision after considering all the facts that his members provide to him. Over the last few days, he revealed that he has been trying to make his team as versatile as possible so that they could survive the harshest of zone shifts and crowd control their enemies in the last circle. His game plan and thorough process do give us some confidence, reinforcing the belief that he can navigate through the treacherous fields and lead his team to success at the FFAC. We hope things go according to plan.
