Desi Gamers Esports and Total Gaming Esports qualify for the FFIC 2021 Fall Finals

The fate of the teams of Group A in the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall has been decided. Desi Gamers Esports and Total Gaming Esports have qualified for the Grand Finals directly from the League Stages. Desi Gamers Esports had a significant lead right from the start of this week, nobody could affect them. Total Gaming Esports and Aura Gaming Esports were tied up. This day had us biting our nails. Aura Gaming Esports missed out on their chance by a slim margin

This was the final League Stage day for the teams of group A, their last chance to end up in the top 2 and qualify directly for the Grand Finals without having to go through the Play-Ins. At the start of the day, Desi Gamers Esports were on the top with a lead of more than 10 league points, which secured their position. They had a lacklustre performance today, but they did not seem to care about it that much because they were aware of their privilege. Desi Gamers Esports even went to the extent of attempting to punch their opponents to death. Their lead allowed them to get away with such risky moves. 

On the other hand, Aura Gaming Esports was in second spot at the start of the day, and they would have qualified if they kept their ante up. Aura Gaming Esports could not, in fact, deal with the pressure in a good way. Total Gaming Esports had a better day than them and overtook them. At the end of Day 8, both the teams were tied at 89 points each. The tie breaker was the number of booyhas. Total Gaming had eight booyahs to their name, while Aura Gaming only had 2. Hence Total Gaming Esports and Desi Gamers Esports qualified for the Grand Finals, and Aura Gaming Esports missed out on their chance by a narrow margin. 

Total Gaming Esports book their ticket to the Grand Finals by winning two booyahs in a row

Total Gaming Esports were plagued with LR7 Esports throughout the week as they kept hot-dropping in their drop locations. In the first game of the day, LR7 did not go for the early hot drop and Total Gaming survived cozily in Mill. Barely any teams took the path that Total Gaming Esports does on their way from Mill to Peak, hence their rotations were safe. They only activated the kill switch in the last phases of the game to win the first booyah. While they did not have too many kills in this game, they made up for the lack of bloodshed in the second game.

Total Gaming Esports was a storm to be reckoned with in Purgatory. This team dropped in Crossroads and quickly repositioned in the cliffside compound to the north of Fields. They held that compound for the longest time and fended off all opponents. They either killed or repelled away all the enemies coming into the zone from their direction. In the late-game phase, they swung inside clearing spots and enemies by fanning out wide. Their calculated and well-paced attacks led them to the second win in a row. 

Blind Esports also turned up the heat, fortifying their stance even more

Blind Esports were already leading Group B by quite a large margin. They bagged three booyahs today, which seemed like a bit of an overkill. This just goes to show how much raw firepower they have. At first, they won matches 3 and 4 in a row. Both of those matches seemed like whitewashes, with them having high kills and mastery over the zone from the get go. Then they topped it off by winning the last game of the day as well, to ring that bell one last time. 

With this, they also pulled off something unique. They were able to win both the matches on Kalahari today, a feat that only 4 Unknown has been able to pull off so far.
