FFIC 2021 Fall: League Stage Head to Head

Intense rivalries and face-offs are the best part about competition. These storylines are the spiciest. There are real people, real history, and conflict between these players. Hence, comparing these teams head to head is the best thing to do.

Total Gaming vs Galaxy Racer

This is a tale as old as the circuit itself. Total Gaming Esports were on a dominant streak in 2020. After winning the FFIC 2020 Fall, the team saw a fall in performance and some internal issues. This caused the team to split up. FozyAjay and Mafiabala remained with Total Gaming Esports, while Golden and Vasiyo left to join Galaxy Racer. Both the teams finished their rosters by picking up new players. Total Gaming Esports signed Javaboy and Prince, while Galaxy Racer onboarded Maryx, Aman, and Barcaboi. This new GXR roster was able to win the FFIC 2021 Spring Championship, while Total Gaming finished last in that tournament. Ever since the team split, this incident where both the halves had such a massive difference in score between them is what fanned the flames of the fire even harder. Total Gaming Epsorts underwent a roster shuffle once again, and this time they picked up two new players - Delete and Mafia. These two have been crucial in their success in the Free Fire Pro League. Both these teams have won the FFIC once, with the common factor being Vasiyo, who has won FFIC twice! Total Gaming Esports have won two major championships, and look to get their third this time, while Vasiyo aims at his third win. However, Vasiyo has a brand new team this time that he will be leading  in FFIC. The new lineup of GXR consists of Vasiyo, Tahir, xDivine, Soham and Mehul

Team Elite vs TSM

Team Elite are the uncrowned kings of the circuit. They have several great finishes in League Stages of several tournaments, but not a single final championship to their name. This is a team of monstrous calibre, with the firepower of an army. TSM on the other hand has the privilege of working with an international esports organization. This team might not have any titles to their name either, but they recently won the India Today Championship, which is proof that they are in good form. These two teams would certainly be looking forward to winning their first FFIC title. Winning the trophy this time around is also a more impactful win, considering how much the esports scene has evolved over the last year. It’s much harder to win a tournament like this now because of all the young talent that’s coming up.

The tournament will be in full swing soon. After a decent bit of break in the competition, this season will have every bit of entertainment value that we asked for. Make sure to tune in to FFIC 2021 Fall League Stage Matchday 1 starting on 17th September at 6 PM IST on our official Free Fire Esports India Youtube channel.
