Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall: League Stage Explainer

Journey of the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall kicked off with the FFC Online Qualifiers on 26th August. We were expecting a huge number of teams to participate in the FFC Mode but the response from you guys was just phenomenal. We almost lost count of how many of you joined the FFC Qualifiers but we do have the top 42 teams that are going to proceed to the Closed Qualifiers. Thank you for your participation but it’s time to move on with our top performers and talk about what lies ahead for them in the League Stage of FFIC 2021 Fall.

In the closed qualifiers, which is one last hurdle before qualifying for the League Stage, 6 teams who came 7th to 12th in the Free Fire Pro League Grand Finals will be joining the 42 qualified teams from the FCC Mode. Only the Top 12 teams from the Closed Qualifiers will get the chance to join the League Stage.

As we enter the League Stage on September 17, the top 6 teams of FFPL 2021 Grand Finals will join the hustle, setting the competitive bar even higher for our 12 teams from Closed Qualifiers. Now, these 18 teams will be divided into 3 groups of 6 teams each - Group A, Group B and Group C.

These three groups will go up against each other in a round robin format. Starting from September 17, we will have match days on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday where one group will play against the other on each match day. The League Stage will last till October 3. During these three week, each group will play against the other groups three times following the League Stage schedule. For example, Group A and B will clash thrice in the League Stage on September 17, September 26 and October 2 respectively. That means each team will get to play a total of 36 matches in the League Stage.

After 9 highly competitive matchdays of the League Stage, we will have our overall score of the 18 teams on October 3. Only the top 2 teams with highest league points from each group will directly qualify for the Grand Finals of FFIC 2021 Fall. The remaining teams ranked between 3rd to 6th in each group will have another shot at the Finals via the Play-Ins stage. In the Play-Ins, top 6 teams in the overall leaderboard will make through to the grand finals of Free Fire India championship 2021 Fall joining the already qualified 6 teams from the league stage.

The League Stage will be streamed live on our Free Fire Esports India YouTube and Facebook channels from 6 PM IST on match days.
