Top 5 teams to look out for in the Play-Ins!

The best of the best teams from across the globe will be gathering in Singapore for the Free Fire World Series 2021 Play-Ins. But even among these titans, even among the best of the best, there are some teams that stand taller, at the tippy-top of the peak. In this article we will put together an objective list of the top 5 teams in the tournament, based on their previous performances and achievements.

  1. Attack All Around

This brilliant roster of Thai players are the winners of the Free Fire Continental Series Asia Finals held last year. They won the biggest tournament of last year under the banner of EXP Esports. However, after moving to Attack All Around, there have been minor roster changes. Hoysang, Pookgod and Caramel will still be a part of the roster that will compete in the FFWS 2021, and they will be joined by Bruno and Jazper. They finished second in Pro League Thailand, one of the toughest leagues in the competitive circuit. If the roster changes to not disrupt their synergy, they might just be able to take the crown at the World Series as well.

  1. Loud

The Brazilian giants are one of the favourite teams in the world. One should have seen the atmosphere in the 2019 World Series when the entire stadium was chanting their name. They unfortunately only finished ninth that year, but this time, they return stronger. They finished second in the Liga Brasileira de Free Fire 2021, just slightly behind Fluxo (ex-World Series Champions). If they can give the ex-champions a run for their money, this team definitely has what it takes to get out of the Play-Ins and compete for the crown in the grand finals.

  1. VaiXourar

VaiXourar is a Portugal based team who won the Free Fire Europe Pro League Season 2. Their win in this tournament got them the slot at the Free Fire World Series. This is a fairly young team. They came into the limelight recently in March after their win. Since then, they’ve had a few additions to the team, they have enough players in their organization to field two rosters. This enables them to do plenty of internal scrimming. The players flying down to play in the championship are of course from the original team that won EUPL. Europe isn’t inherently a region as strong as Brazil or SEA, hence there’s a lot riding on this team as they carry the hopes of not only their country, but the entire continent on their back.

  1. First Raiders Bravo

This team hails from Indonesia and placed second in the Free Fire Indonesia Masters 2021 to get their spot in the play-ins. They lost out on the title by a tiny margin, and had to settle for a second place against EVOS Divine. They have always been hanging around the top of the Indonesian competitive circuits and are one of the best teams that the country has to offer. However, this is their first time stepping out of the bounds of their nation and playing for an international tournament. It will be exciting to see how they deal with the pressure. They’ve played against big names like ONIC Olyumpus, RRQ Hades and Aerowolf to get here. Hopefully that will give them enough experience to deal with the opponents from the other side of the world.

  1. Singularity.Invincible

Team Invicible have had a slow but steady learning curve since 2020. They used to hover around in the top 10 of the CIS region, but this year at the Free Fire Pro League CIS Season 2, they finished second, because of which they qualified for the World Series. Their lineup was acquired by Team Singularity, a multi-gaming organization that’s helping them become more professional. They had to make minor roster changes to abide by the tournament rules, and now their lineup is Kobra, Moskv1n, NeZa1s, Mers1, Kadyrov and Orange.
